Overview
The big bore spindle lathe offers a spindle bores of 6” diameter for different sizes of materials. The center distance range from 60 – 236″. The machine bed is 32” wide. Double chucks are available for holding extra long and large pipes.

Features
Three Points Support Headstock Spindle
The headstock casting is designed with one ball bearing and two tapered roller bearings supporting the full length of the spindle shaft.
Spindle bore size available in 6”. Double chucks are available as options.
Gears and shafts are made from hardened and ground alloy steel, the spindle is made from forged, chrome alloy material.
One Piece Casting Bed/Base
The oversized 24” wide bedways are induction hardened and ground for long lasting accuracy.
One piece casting bedways and base offer rigidity and stiffness to the entire machine to enhance heavy cutting
Double Chuck Capability
The headstock is available with rear chuck adapter that allows double chucks to be mounted onto the headstock for holding extra long or heavy work pieces.
Machine Designed for High Productivity
The machine is built with 2 V and 2 flat bed ways with an extra way in front to add support to carriage travel. FANUC Oi-TF control and drive are used for its high reliability and excellent service. 4 gear change spindle speeds are provided for heavy cutting requirements.
Powered Tailstock and quill
The standard tailstock is equipped with a motorized quill feed for ease of infeed. Large hand crank allows convenient positioning of quill position. For larger models, motorized tailstock units are available as standard. (picture shows power driven tailstock with motorized quill unit)
