The center distance ranges from 78” to 236”, and the machine bed is 49” wide with 6 bedways. The cross slide and tailstock travel on separate bedways for added stability.

The STF-Series CNC lathe machine is an extra heavy-duty facing lathe with swings of 44”, 50”, 55”, 60”, and 64”, and spindle bores of 6”, 9”, 10″, 12”, and 15” diameter. Designed for large diameter but short length work pieces, it has no tailstock and a center distance of 40”. The machine bed is 32” wide.
