Overview
The Sharp KMA-4H-CNC series machines has 2 spindles (Vertical and Horizontal) for easy, simple, hard metal removal. The horizontal spindle allows 5-sided machining when installed with the optional indexable, or rotary table. There is no Automatic Tool Change (ATC).

Features
5 Sided Machining
With the indexer, or rotary table (optional items), this machine can perform 5-sided operations allowing these complicated operations to be done at one set up.
2 Spindles Milling Head
The milling head is designed with vertical and horizontal spindles driven by separate motors with gear head and 18 speeds. Both spindles has #50 taper and 15 HP motor.
4 Box way design
The 4 slide ways are hand scraped, hardened and ground. Box ways have superior vibration damping capacity than linear ways and can be used on severe machining applications. During a crash, they are less susceptible to damage due to large contact surface.
Gearhead High Precision Spindle
The gearhead spindle delivers greater torque output for heavy duty machining. The high quality gears are hardened and ground for durability, high accuracy and minimum noise. The gear box has circulating type filtration system to keep the lubricating oil clean. It has 18 speeds ranges from 45 rpm to 1,500 rpm
