Sharp's SGE Series of Surface Grindres featues a 2-Axis NC Downfeed and Crossfeed control that can perform precise Plunge grinding, Slot grinding and Step grinding. Both down feeds and cross feeds are driven by AC servo motors and precision ballscrews. The spindle head travels on a linear guideway for smooth and highly accurate movements. The control features conversational type programming and instruction and comes with a user friendly 10" touch screen with color graphics.
